Chemical Properties
Mechanism of Action: Oxaliplatin is a platinum-based DNA crosslinking agent that induces the formation of inter- and intra-strand crosslinks in DNA, as well as DNA-protein crosslinks, inhibiting DNA and RNA synthesis and inducing apoptotic cell death.
Incompatibility: It is incompatible with sodium chloride and alkaline solutions, as well as alkaline drugs (especially 5-fluorouracil). Do not dissolve or dilute this drug with saline solution
