Pharmacological Actions:

1. Anti-inflammatory Effect: As a glucocorticoid, Prednisolone Acetate reduces and prevents tissue responses to inflammation, thereby alleviating inflammatory manifestations.

2. Immunosuppressive Effect: It prevents or inhibits cell-mediated immune responses, delayed hypersensitivity reactions, and reduces the extension of primary immune reactions.

3. Antitoxic and Antishock Effects: Glucocorticoids can counteract the stimulatory effects of bacterial endotoxins on the body, reduce cellular damage, and protect the body.

Indications:

• Topical use for allergic, non-infectious skin diseases, and some proliferative skin disorders such as dermatitis, eczema, neurodermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and pruritus.

• Used in the treatment of allergic and autoimmune inflammatory diseases, collagen diseases, such as rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus, severe bronchial asthma, nephrotic syndrome, thrombocytopenic purpura, granulocytopenia, acute lymphocytic leukemia, various adrenal insufficiency, exfoliative dermatitis, pemphigus, and neurodermatitis similar to eczema.
