Appearance: White to off-white powder or crystalline solid
Physical and Chemical Properties
Solubility: Soluble in DMSO and water (with appropriate solubilization techniques)
Stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C, protected from light, and in an inert gas atmosphere
Mechanism of Action
Eribulin Mesylate exerts its antitumor effects by binding to tubulin within microtubules, thereby inhibiting the growth of microtubules during cell division. This inhibition leads to the arrest of cancer cells in the G2/M phase of the cell cycle and subsequently induces apoptosis (programmed cell death).
Pharmacological Properties
Antitumor Activity: Eribulin Mesylate demonstrates antitumor activity against a variety of cancer cell lines, including those derived from breast cancer.
Pharmacokinetics: After intravenous administration, Eribulin Mesylate is distributed throughout the body and is metabolized in the liver. It is eliminated primarily through biliary excretion.
