Uses

• Gadobutrol solutions are typically used as contrast agents (also known as contrast media) for enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It belongs to the class of gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCAs).

• After intravenous injection, gadobutrol increases the sensitivity of MRI for detecting tumors, inflammation, and demyelinating diseases in the central nervous system.
