Pharmacological Action

Mechanism of Action:

As a partial agonist, it partially stimulates these receptors to provide moderate dopamine release, which can alleviate symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. At the same time, it blocks nicotine from binding to these receptors, thereby reducing the reinforcing effects of smoking.
