Applications
Hydrochloride Amiodarone is a potent antiarrhythmic agent that inhibits both fast sodium channels and slow calcium channels. It also affects thyroid hormone metabolism, exhibits non-competitive antisympathetic effects, regulates thyroid function, and modulates phospholipid metabolism. Additionally, Amiodarone HCl is a sodium/potassium-ATPase inhibitor and an activator of autophagy, making it useful in treating various cardiac arrhythmias.
