Uses and Efficacy
Carbazochrome Sodium Sulfonate is a new generation of hemostatic agent, derived from Carbazochrome (Anrodafine). The introduction of the sulfonic acid sodium group into its molecular structure overcomes the limitations of Carbazochrome's low solubility, which relied on salicylic acid for solubilization, resulting in a more pronounced hemostatic effect.
It does not contain a salicylic acid group, thus does not cause hemolysis, does not affect hematopoiesis, and has minimal irritation, making it safe for use.
It has no adrenergic-like effects, causing no fluctuations in blood pressure or heart rate, does not affect coagulation mechanisms, and has rapid onset with long-lasting effects.
It has been widely used abroad to treat capillary fragility in hypertension, prevent the onset of stroke, and has hemostatic effects in various aspects such as pulmonary hemorrhage, gastrointestinal bleeding, and postpartum hemorrhage.
In China, it is primarily used for various bleeding caused by increased capillary permeability, such as bleeding in the urinary system, upper digestive tract, respiratory tract, and gynecological diseases. It is particularly effective for urinary system bleeding and can also be used for the prevention and treatment of trauma and surgical bleeding.
