Uses

Ioversol is a new type of triiodinated, low-osmolar, nonionic contrast agent primarily used for various vascular radiological imaging examinations, including:

• Cerebral angiography

• Peripheral arteriography

• Visceral, renal, and aortic arteriography

• Cardiovascular angiography (including coronary angiography, arterial and venous digital subtraction angiography, etc.)

• Urography (including intravenous urography, retrograde urography, percutaneous nephrostomy urography)

• Body cavity imaging (including joint imaging, cholangiopancreatography, fistula imaging, T-tube imaging, myelography, etc.)

Additionally, Ioversol is used for CT enhancement scans to improve diagnostic efficiency.
