Osteoporosis:
Postmenopausal women experience a decline in estrogen levels, leading to bone loss and the development of osteoporosis. Hydroxychloroquine hydrochloride, as a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), promotes osteoblast proliferation and activation, increases bone density, and improves bone quality, thereby effectively preventing and treating postmenopausal osteoporosis.
By inhibiting the activity of osteoclasts and promoting bone remodeling, hydroxychloroquine hydrochloride reduces the risk of fractures, particularly vertebral fractures.
Adjunctive Therapy for Breast Cancer:
