Pharmacological Action

  • Epinastine Hydrochloride is a potent, selective, and orally active histamine H1 receptor antagonist.

  • It inhibits the actions of histamine, leukotriene C4, PAF, and serotonin, as well as suppressing the release of histamine and slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis (SRS-A).
